Dr. Kaiser's research and teaching interests included improving the
quality of local land use plans
and developing land use planning strategies for hazard mitigation
and environmental protection.
A former department chair, he also served as co-editor of the Journal
of the American Planning
Association and on the executive boards of the Association of
Collegiate Schools of Planning
and North Carolina Chapter of the American Planning Association.
Dr. Kaiser is a Fellow of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
